As the LED Group continues to grow with the support of our new investment partners, Oaktree.
We have identified the need for a new role within the business, LED Group Marketing Director.
We envisage a significant amount of organic growth for the Group as well as more acquisitions
to the LED Group platform.
This expansion will require strategic management of the brands, identities and communication
both internally within the Group structure and externally to our customers, end users and the
wider market to ensure we are delivering a consistent and clear message to all who interact
with our businesses.
This is a full-time role based in Dublin which will focus on driving strategic alignment across all
brands, optimising marketing efforts across categories, and ensuring that each business within
the group has a robust, effective marketing approach tailored to its unique needs. The role will
be critical in elevating brand visibility and driving customer engagement with both the LED
Group business and the brands within the Group.
This role will report to the Group Commercial Director.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for LED Group marketing to ensure alignment of the platform as
we move forward.
- Development of the LED Group brand.
- Manage media relations and public communication for Group-level initiatives and
announcements working with nominated PR agencies.
- Oversee the creation and implementation of multi-channel marketing campaigns,
including digital marketing, traditional media, content marketing, and events.
- Evaluate and leverage different marketing channels to drive customer engagement and
brand loyalty.
- Approve marketing strategies for each Group company.
- Act as a key marketing advisor to the executive leadership team, presenting updates on
marketing performance, strategic recommendations, and opportunities for growth.
- Work closely with the heads of the individual businesses and sales directors to align
their specific marketing needs with the group’s broader strategy.
- Line manager to Head of Marketing.
- Dotted line on FuseBox and other future businesses marketing teams to ensure
continued alignment with the Group strategy.
- Take responsibility for the marketing budget at a group level, ensuring effective
allocation of resources across individual businesses.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive
positioning for the brands within the group.
- Use insights to adjust marketing strategies and keep the group ahead of industry trends.
Your profile
- Proven experience as a Marketing Director or in a similar senior marketing role, preferably within the B2B sector.
- 10+ years of experience in a Head of Marketing or Marketing Director role.
- A track record of success in developing and implementing global marketing strategies that drive brand growth and business results.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a global team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and optimizing spend for maximum impact.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
