St Buryan Church in Penzance, Cornwall recently underwent a ROBUS lighting retrofit. This historic church dates back to the late 15th Century. The Project Manager was struggling to find the right lighting to suit its impressive structure so they contacted their local Electrical Contractor; NSN Electrical for advice.
NSN Electrical Director, Joss Sullivan-Norcliffe recognised that St Buryan Church was suffering with a lack of light. The Project Manager was constantly replacing lamps, which meant that the colour temperature of the various lights/lamps around the Church varied and the light output was inconsistent. The whole Church was very dim with many dark spots.
ROBUS was the first choice for NSN Electrical when they were deciding on what fittings to use. Joss says ‘We love the products and the support we get from ROBUS’. Joss contacted his local ROBUS Area Sales Manager, Ben Davis and they collaborated on this project. Ben designed the installation after discussing with Joss and the client on site.
Ben opted to use the 30W ROBUS REMY LED Flood Light due to its longevity and uniform light coverage. The ROBUS REMY is made from high quality polycarbonate and aluminium materials which ensures the fitting will look good for years to come and they have a high efficacy of 96lm/W. The ROBUS REMY also features a tempered glass frosted diffuser which provides low glare and uniform light coverage of the area. NSN Electrical installed 60 of the 30W ROBUS REMY LED Flood Lights in the St Buryan Church.
St Buryan Church are delighted that they won’t have to worry about frequently replacing lamps or having dim light areas anymore. As you can see from the images, the ROBUS REMY brings life to this historic and impressive architecture.
